Build Relationships

Build Relationships

One will be surprised at how the couple, people are spending their lives!!!

Weekdays are filled with scheduled & unscheduled meetings, quick lunches, gossips on wide variety of topics, special coaching sessions with boss, waiting for cab, stuck in traffic for hours, sleeping with half-stomach. Kids with homework, studies.

Thank God It’s Friday. Weekend. Weekends are filled with bars, pubs, movies, shopping.
Days are gone.

Summer holidays. Couple enquired the whole city and joined their kids in summer camp. Karate, swimming, dance, music etc,. Finally June came. Again, the same routine.

It is the life of almost everyone. May be Puri replaces Idli, Bike replaces Car, dinner menu might be different.

People are living together like machines are placed side by side. Parents are earning machines, kids are reading machines. Kids are spending time with computer games and adults with Facebook, twitter etc,. Weekends in bars, pubs, shopping complex. Unknowingly or with complete awareness, people are leading hardcore materialistic lives.

Does anyone spend time with their grannies and listen to their words, stories? This generation is well aware of all the series of Harry Potter. Just question them about Indian epics and see the blank expression on their faces as if they are asked rocket science at the age of 3 years. Earlier, all the kids gather in the evening and force their elders to tell them stories. Grannies used to teach stories with moral value, the greatness of Indian heroes in the history. Thus, the values are injected in the lives of children. They help to lead their lives with satisfaction.

Does anyone spend time with orphans and understand the greatness of relationships? They don’t have parents, relatives. We are struggling a lot though everything is supplied on time by our parents. Can you imagine what would be the situation of the people who are not received by anyone. Can you imagine the struggle they do every day. They know very well about the relationships.

Don’t spend too much time with physical world, Digital world. Try to build relationships. Go to every function that you are invited. Greet everyone with smile. Had a chat. Know them. If possible, invite their family to your home. Try to know what happened to depressed colleague in your office. Listen to them. Console them. If possible, suggest them what needs to be done. Visit nearby orphanage. Spend time with them. They know very well about relationships than that of anyone. You will be the reason of smile on their face for a moment.

At the start of the day, you earn, you enjoy, you struggle. But at the end of the day, it is relationships that make you happy, gives satisfaction.

Next time when you happen to see your colleague depressed, go and have a chat. Spend few days of your summer holidays with your grannies, relatives. Expand your relative network. At least, monthly once vist nearby orphanage or old-age home.

See the difference in your life!!!!

Relationships are more important than life...But it is important for Relationships to have life in them.
